Advertising Age compiles a weekly list of the top ten viral ad campaigns found on the web. The videos are ranked by views, and are tracked from week to week. Advertising Age uses a system called Visible Measures which tracks viewing patterns across 150 different video-sharing sites.
By tracking these videos, it's easy to see just how popular they can be; the top video, "Extreme Sheep LED Art" by Samsung (video below) was viewed over 2 million times last week.
Obviously Advertising Age does not know the actually impact this has made on Samsung sales, but 2 million views are a lot of eyeballs anyway you slice it.
